Assistant Area Manager

Eastern Area Agency on Aging is currently recruiting for a part-time, Assistant Area Manager for its Meals on Wheels & Community Café program in the greater Bangor area. The position is 24 hours per week; based out of the Union Street Location in Bangor. This position assists the Area Manager in providing & promoting program service throughout the area. Job duties include Assisting the Area Manager in determining eligibility, maintaining records, referring clients, establishing home delivery routes, supervising volunteers, counting money, placing orders, coordinating activities and conducting home delivery meal assessments as directed by Area Manager.

The Assistant Area Manager also responds to the needs of clients, staff and volunteers in a manner that represents the agency in a positive way and supports a team approach. Compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and record keeping is required

High School diploma or GED required. Knowledge of services and programs available for older persons preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance.
