Health & Wellness Class Instructor

EAAA is seeking a Certified Group Fitness Instructor to teach health and wellness classes at our Union Street classroom in the Airport Mall in Bangor on a Per-Diem basis.  Weekly hours will range from 1-5 hours per week between the hours of 8AM- 12PM Monday through Friday. 


This position
is responsible for delivering specific classes (Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program, Senior Strength, and Enhance Fitness) to participants in the community. Additional training for specific classes could be provided.

Candidate should be comfortable facilitating and speaking in front of groups. Must have the ability to determine purpose and effectiveness of every exercise, ensure safety, and proper body mechanics throughout the entire range of motion, and determine appropriateness of material delivered to each member of the group population.

Candidate must be able to maintain all necessary certifications as they pertain to the class content being offered, as well as a willingness to become and maintain CPR/AED certifications. Must possess a valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance. High School diploma or GED preferred.
