Eastern Area Agency on Aging is currently accepting applications for our Community Outreach and Program Manager position.
The Community Outreach and Program Manager is responsible for completing community outreach of all EAAA programs throughout the four-county region. Candidates must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, customers, and the public.
As the Program Manager they are also responsible for the development and daily management of the of assigned programs, services, and employees. The Manager is also responsible for collaborating with community providers, volunteers, staff, and the Office of Aging and Disability Services. Completes reports as required by funders. Works with the Leadership Team to establish policies and procedures, develop short range plans, provide input into decision making, ensure consistent and timely communication throughout the organization, provide staff feedback, and share best practices. Candidates should have the ability to work in and lead a dynamic team as well as the ability to effectively manage tasks independently.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Adult Education, Gerontology or related field required. Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or LSW eligible preferred.
Travel through the Agency’s four county coverage area is required. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Must be able to pass background and driver’s background checks.
