The Nutrition program is currently recruiting for a full-time, 40 hours per week, Area Manager. This position is the driving force behind the promotion and distribution of program services throughout Penobscot County.
Job duties include operational oversight of the Community Café’s, completion of home assessments and coordination of Agency programs throughout Penobscot County. This includes financial oversight of assigned programs and responsibility for supervision, training and development of staff, as well as maintaining client/vendor relations. Additionally, this position is accountable for the coordination of meal orders and distribution for the four-county coverage area. The Area Manager is expected to respond to the needs of clients, staff and volunteers in a manner that represents the agency in a positive way and supports a team approach.
Compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and recordkeeping as well as the ability to lift 50 pounds and some travel is required.
Associates degree in Business or related field preferred, 3 years of applicable work experience will be considered in place of educational requirements. One year experience working with seniors and previous supervisory experience is required. Must have valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
